Towelket One More Time 3 (タオルケットをもう一度3）is a free Earthbound inspired JRPG made by Kanao (Kanashimi Hocchikisu) in the year of 2008.
Synopsys:
The debut game in the Towelket series recounts the adventures of the protagonist and his/her sister after they have been shrunk by the mysterious Magic Book. Trying to return their bodies to their normal size, the protagonists meet all sorts of bizarre characters and, without noticing it, find themselves in the middle of a confrontation between the Solar System and the evil Kisechu Empire led by the mysterious Fish Hats. Will they be able to save Earth from total enslavement?
Towelket: One More Time is a japanese series of free indie RPG games made on RPG Maker 2000 by Kanao, first released in 2008. It features cute graphics mixed with a strange, fantasy-ish atmosphere akin to Earthbound; although with occasional guro and dirty jokes, giving it a charming unevenness. Most of the main games involve aliens invading the world and attempting to harm humans, with the main party being tasked with saving the earth.
Correct game's release order is: 3, 2, 1, 6, 4, Fury etc. (the rest is untranslated yet).
Important: this game wasn't made by us (Patchy Illusion Team)! The developer allowed the games translation, however.

The game contains: drugs and alcohol abuse, pixelized violence, mentions of sex.

Install instructions
How to launch the game:
1. Download the game's archive.
2. Unpack the game's folder from the archive.
3. Launch the game with "StartFullscreen" or "StartWindowed" launcher (you can also launch the game with "Player.exe" in the "Data" folder.
How to launch the game on Linux:
1.Download the Easy RPG Player
2. Go to game folder and open Data folder
3. Open terminal in Data folder and type "easyrpg-player"
How to launch the game on Mac:
1. Download the mac version of Easy RPG (https://easyrpg.org/player/downloads/#release-macos)
2. Simply extract the zip file to uncover the application, then move the application over into the Data folder of the game.
3. Launch the EasyRPG Player (now inside the Data folder) and the application will prompt you to grant EasyRPG Player permission to access your desktop/wherever you had decided to download the game. Simply grant permission and the game should work!!
How to play on Android:
1. Get the Easy RPG Player from Google store
2. Download the game and put the main game's folder ("Data" folder by default) into the "easyrpg/games" directory
3.Launch the EasyRPG application and choose the game .
*better rename the "Data" folder you've just moved there into something else (the game's name, for example), so if you move more "data" folders they won't overwrite each other

I downloaded the game today I found out I have new pictures in my gallery, is this normal?
On the phone, you mean? Some phones tend to pick the images from unpacked folders (like music albums or manga) and make them visible in their galleries, it's probably depends in which directory you do download all the stuff. Just check the file path of the images, if it goes to the game directory, it's fine.
Thanks for the translation! I've been meaning to try out the Towelket series, and uploading it on itch.io was a good excuse for me. Here's episode 1 of my playthrough for those interested:
To be honest, looking at the content warnings, I thought this game was a lot darker than it was. The only part that mildly disturbed me was the rampant sexual harassment of a particular character (which I still don't know if it was supposed to be funny or not!), but otherwise it was mostly a standard JRPG experience in my opinion.So, a question to the translators, or anyone who's played the games: Do the other entries in the Towelket get more interesting in terms of story? I do have a morbid preference for dark themes in RPGmaker games such as End Roll and Omori, so if it goes in that direction, that would be great!
Thank you too, for helping us make the series popular! As for the content - yeah, tk3 is the most lighthearted entry in the series. Check out 2, 1, and Fury, and rest assured, you'll find everything you need in there (honestly, I'm not even sure we'll even upload Fury in here due to its content, lol).
